Newsconcealed carry church security tactical trainingThe Louisiana Legislature has amended the concealed carry permit statute to authorize the carrying of a concealed handgun in a church. The Church may authorize the carrying of concealed handguns by concealed carry permit holders and a concealed carry permit holder may be authorized to carry concealed in a church upon approval of the church and completion of an additional eight hours of tactical training. Ruston Gun Club has prepared a curriculum for the mandatory eight hours of tactical training specifically structured to teach the skills necessary to protect groups of people from single and multiple assailants in a confined space such as a building. The problem of providing protection for yourself and others under those circumstances requires a solution that prepares you in advance. Surprise and indecision should never be your response. |
